Ben Cook, 17, has too much time on his hands, or at least his thumbs.  Ben was able to pound out a text message on his cell phone in 57.75 seconds.  The previous Guinness record was 67 seconds.

So in less than 58 seconds, Ben typed out the following sentence:

"The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world.  In reality they seldom attack a human."

I'm a pretty good typer, 57 words per minute last time I tested, but wow.  It took me over 58 seconds to stumble through that sentence on my full keyboard. I couldn't imagine trying it on a cell phone.  It probably wouldn't take more than 3 seconds for him to textmessage "Hey wanna go to the movies?"
